Out of this week's waste (58 k) our lowest so far, 44k is kitchen waste!

Our numbers went sky high as result of some of the waste created after our school fair, (which by the way was very successful!) We did, however end up with 'stuff' that couldn't go to a charity shop or be reused or recycled and so it ended up in the outside bin!

On a more positive note we have just installed our wormery, composters (including tumbler) and bokashi composter. The bokashi will accept meat and fish as well as other compostables. This will be organised as a whole school composting project as we are interested in how efficient these methods are in dealing with kitchen waste (usually our main difficulty.) We will be keen to share our findings!
